So the template that i drew up and put on the blog isn't actually what my digipak is going to look like and this is because the images i wanted to use didnt look professional enough and i feel like because i wasn't looking into the camera there was a lack of communication between myself as the artist and the audience that would buy the album.
I chose the image below to use as my front cover image because i think that the eye contact that i have with the camera creates a good amount of connection and would draw more people in because i would be looking at them. I think that the close up is good and the angle of the shot isn't too low down and i really like the colours in the background because they are bright and fit in with the colour scheme that my group decided to stick to.
This image is going to be on the front of the digipak along with the name of the artist and the album title.
The back of the digipak is going to be have a block baby blue colour on it with the list of the albums songs over the top of it. I'm also obviously going to add other pieces of information like the copyright information and the label that the artist is signed to and the barcode.
This image is going to be used on the inside of the digipak covering both panels. I am going to turn down the opacity on the imge so that it fades out a bit because i am going to put a light blue colour over the top of the image but i want to keep the image visible so that the inside of the digipak looks a lot more interesting.
