Digipak is finished!!

So my Digipak is finished and to be honest it didn't take as long as I expected. I made slight changes change from my mock up- mainly the fact that I changed the colours on it. I found some aspects of photoshop quite difficult as I hadn't used it as intensely as I did when making the Digipak, but I learnt quite a lot of things, mainly from Khadeeja e.g. adjusting colour curves to improve the quality of an image, putting the magic wand tool to good use etc. Here's a photo of the finished Digipak inside and outside...

Digipak Update

this is an updated version of my digipak

this is the inside of the digipak so far, its improved a lot since the last digipak update. I have changed the whole idea and i realise that not my drawn up template looks nothing like my digipak that i am now creating on photoshop
I've stuck to a blue theme, so that the colours dont get too confusing and so that they dont clash. I tried to keep the inside simple but i also wanted to keep it linked to the outside of the digipak.

Planning- Digipak and Magazine advert pitch

Planning- Mock-up of Magazine advert

Planning- My friend's helpful input on my digipak/album ideas

Progress on my Digipak so far...

So here's a screenshot of the progress I've made for far, this is the front cover of my Digipak, with the copyright information still to be put on the back panel. Originally, the background was going to be yellow and blue, but after looking at it and getting some feedback from members of my group and other members of my class I decided to change it due to the fact that it looked a bit tacky and unprofessional. Although I like the colours I don't think they go particularly well together, and I also feel as though the colour of 'Romy' being black and the 'Bad Idea' being white don't really match. Another feature of the original Digipak that I thought that I shouldn't bring into the new one is the white lines that I drew around the image of Romy as again it doesn't look very professional and is quite unnecessary

This is what the the Digipak looked like originally...

DEADLINES...

just a little video about my thoughts on the deadline for the digipak....

Production - My Digipak So Far (Quick Update Thingy)

Not much has changed since the last digpak update that i made, however i have changed the font of the album title and the track list because i needed to stick to two fonts at the most but i was trying to use three fonts because i liked how the track list looked in the font 'mix tape'. However i was finding it difficult to match another font up to the synergy font and the mix tape font so in the end i settled for just two fonts:

(screenshot of blog about fonts)

This is my digipak so far. the track list needs to be arranged in a neater way and i need to add the copyright information onto the back of the digipak however i feel like so far my digipak is looking decent and i hope to only make improvements on it (obviously).

Laters.

Changing The Font...

sooo after some searching through many different types of fonts, i finally decided that instead of using two different fonts plus the synergy font, i decided to use the font:

Noteworthy:

i feel like the font Noteworthy matches up with the synergy font alot nicer then the font 'mix tape' which originally s a group we decided to al use that font type.

it's a a lot better to stick to two fonts at the most. anymore fonts can get confusing and can end up making the whole digipak look messy and a bit unorganised.
